It’s not an “easy” car to drive, so I would have to agree. Heavyish, long clutch pedal, tight cockpit, tighter footwell, terrible gas mileage arent the best for daily duty.

I would argue though, that those same features/flaws make it feel more special to drive than a C5/C6, even if it is a worse performer is most ways. (Though the power is pretty competitive despite being more than a decade older.) The seats and seating position feel way more “supercar” compared to more modern Vettes.

To disprove my username tag, probably like your Z, this car IS actually fun to drive at ~5/10ths.

No overdrive on 5th/6th on the C4? C5s and C6s are pretty notorious for getting 30s mpg highway.

Oh t hey have overdrive, but I guess in personal experience, I don’t drive it much “ s tay in 6th , light on the throttle” highway mileage, if you know what I mean. ;)

Yeah, it’s quite fun even going slow. I still firmly believe it’s light car fast, not slow car fast.
